Hello, my name is Jessie M. Riddick and I am the second oldest of ten children born to the parents of the late James
Clinton and Maggie Eggleston Riddick. I am member of Mount Lebanon African Methodist Episcopal Zion, where I service
as the Church Secretary, Secretary of the Quarterly Conference, member of the Senior and Gospel Choir.
On the District level I have served as the District Conference Secretary for over 30 years, and member of the District
Planning Committee. On the conference level, I am Conference President of Lay Council, served as Conference Statistician,
Conference Trustee, General Conference Delegate; 1996, 2000, 2004. I was recently elected 2nd Vice President of the Connectional
Lay Council in 2005, in New Orleans, LA.
I am a 1978 graduate of Elizabeth City State University, with a B.S. Degree in Business Administration with a Concentration
in Music /Voice, and continuing education units at North Carolina State University. I am employed at Elizabeth City State
University in the Department of Student Affairs, serving in that department for 27 years. I am a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha
Sorority, Inc., National Council of Negro Women.
I have to beautiful children: Tamika Denise-Operations Manager at World Travel Management in Washington DC, William Roosevelt
Riddick-Walker-who plays Semi-Pro Football for the Rochester Raiders and a precious grandson, who is my heart, William Jr.
